How long does it take to sell my items? โ–ผ

Most items sell within 1โ€“2 weeks. Our auctions typically run 7 days, and Buy It Now listings on Shopify and eBay are active immediately. High-demand items like Pokรฉmon cards and popular Funko Pops often sell within days.

What if my item doesn't sell? โ–ผ

If an item doesn't sell at auction, we can re-list it at no additional cost, move it to a different platform (like eBay or Shopify), or return it to you. We'll work with you to find the best approach. You're never stuck.

Is there a minimum value for items? โ–ผ

Generally, we accept items valued at $50 or more. For trading cards, the minimum is $5 per card, or they can be grouped into lots. If you have a large collection of lower-value items, we can often group them into attractive lots that sell well. Not sure? Submit your items online or call us โ€” we're happy to evaluate for free.

Can I set a minimum price (reserve)? โ–ผ

Absolutely! You can set a reserve price on any item. If bidding doesn't reach your reserve, the item won't sell. Most of our lots start at $5 to attract more bidders and drive up the final price โ€” but your reserve protects you from selling too low.

What is the marketing fee? โ–ผ

The Basic marketing fee ($100) is a one-time charge per consignment that covers our email marketing campaigns to our active bidder and buyer list. This is how we drive traffic to your items. It's paid upfront when you drop off your items.

The fee is per consignment โ€” not per item. Whether you consign 5 items or 50, the Basic fee is the same $100. Higher tiers are available for more exposure, but Basic is the only required tier.

What platforms will my items be listed on? โ–ผ

We list across multiple platforms to maximize your exposure:

  • eBay โ€” The world's largest marketplace for collectibles
  • Shopify โ€” Our direct-sale store for Buy It Now purchases
  • Poshmark โ€” For clothing, shoes, and accessories

  • The Toy Showroom โ€” Our physical location in Upland, CA

We choose the best platform(s) for each item based on category, value, and buyer demand.

How do I get paid? โ–ผ

Once your items sell and the buyer's payment clears, we process your payout within 15 business days. You can choose ACH bank transfer (fastest), check, or PayPal. We'll confirm your preferred method when you drop off your items.

Do I need to clean or prepare my items? โ–ผ

We appreciate items being reasonably clean, but you don't need to go overboard. We handle professional photography, detailed descriptions, and presentation. Just make sure items are complete (include all accessories if possible) and accurately represent their condition.

Can I consign remotely / ship items to you? โ–ผ

Currently, we accept drop-offs at our Upland showroom (1302 Monte Vista Ave Unit 20). For large or high-value collections, we may be able to arrange pickup. Call us at (909) 870-7095 to discuss options.

What about insurance? Are my items protected? โ–ผ

Yes. We maintain liability insurance for all consigned items while they're in our care. From the moment you drop off to the moment they ship to the buyer, your items are covered. We treat every consignment like it's our own collection.

How do you determine the value of my items? โ–ผ

We use a combination of recent sold comparables from eBay, HiBid, and other platforms, along with our team's expertise in collectibles and resale markets. For trading cards, we reference TCGPlayer and PSA population reports. You'll receive a transparent quote before committing to anything.

What happens at drop-off? โ–ผ

When you visit our showroom:

  • We'll review your items together and confirm the consignment quote
  • You'll sign the consignment agreement (takes about 5 minutes)
  • Pay the marketing fee (Basic $100 or your chosen tier)
  • We take it from there โ€” photography, listing, marketing, selling, and shipping

The whole process usually takes 15โ€“20 minutes. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday.

Can I track my items after consigning? โ–ผ

Yes! We'll keep you updated via text and email as your items are listed, receive bids, and sell. You can also call us anytime at (909) 870-7095 and our team (or Val, our AI receptionist) can look up the status of your consignment instantly.
